INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Kak Groot Army platform. By registering, entering competitions, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Kak Groot Army NPC is a non-profit company registered in South Africa, operating in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA).
ELIGIBILITY
You must be 18 years or older to participate. By entering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are legally able to enter into binding agreements. Employees of Kak Groot Army NPC and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in competitions.
COMPETITION ENTRY
Each entry costs R25.00 (twenty-five South African Rand) and grants one attempt at the monthly competition. All entries are non-transferable. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your entry is confirmed once payment is successfully completed. Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable.
COMPETITION RULES
Each monthly competition runs on a seeded game, meaning every player receives the exact same tile sequence and starting position. The player with the highest score at the end of the competition period wins. Scores are final and verified by our system. Any attempt to manipulate scores, exploit bugs, or cheat will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of entries.
PRIZES
Prizes are described on the competition card for each month. Prize values are estimates and may vary. Prizes are awarded to the verified winner at the end of each competition period. Kak Groot Army NPC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
PAYMENTS
All payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. We do not store your credit or debit card information. By making a payment, you authorise Stripe to charge your card for the entry fee. All transactions are subject to Stripe terms and conditions.
REFUNDS
Entry fees are non-refundable except where required by the Consumer Protection Act. If a competition is cancelled by Kak Groot Army NPC, all entry fees for that competition will be refunded in full. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
FAIR PLAY
All players compete on equal terms. The same game seed ensures identical conditions for every participant. Any form of cheating, including but not limited to score manipulation, account sharing, or use of automated tools, is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification and a permanent ban from the platform.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Kak Groot Army NPC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the entry that gave rise to the claim. We are not responsible for technical failures beyond our control.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this platform, including the game, branding, and design, is the property of Kak Groot Army NPC. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission. Your callsign and scores may be displayed publicly on leaderboards.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes arising from these terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved in accordance with South African law. We are committed to fair and transparent resolution of all disputes.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
